Inovação e inclusão em democracia

At 18, democracy grants youth the right to choose, but many young people with disabilities face limited opportunities after school. The PIIC-me project in Cascais aims to provide personalized support for these individuals, helping them integrate into the community. Recognized at the Innovation in Politics Awards, the initiative focuses on creating tailored plans that align with each young person's abilities and aspirations. By collaborating with families and local organizations, the project opens doors to volunteering, professional training, and employment. This approach not only benefits the youth but also alleviates the burden on families, allowing parents to return to work. The commitment is to ensure that all young people can choose their paths and thrive throughout their lives.
