Inquinamento all’ex Ilva di Taranto, chiesto l’arresto per Lucia Morselli e altri due dirigenti

The Taranto Prosecutor's Office has requested house arrest for Lucia Morselli, former CEO of Acciaierie d'Italia, along with two other individuals, due to an investigation into alleged pollution from the plant. The inquiry focuses on emissions between 2019 and 2024, with accusations suggesting that profit maximization was prioritized over environmental protection. A total of 10 individuals are facing preventive measures, and 28 people and five companies are under investigation. Eight individuals are accused of organized crime related to environmental offenses. The requests for precautionary measures will be assessed by the investigating judge.
