Interior reveals that the CNI only informed him of new entries in Ceuta after the assault

The Ministry of the Interior revealed that the CNI did not provide prior alerts regarding the mass entry into Ceuta on July 30 and 31. A report states that no warnings were received that could have anticipated the sudden influx of migrants. Although there were indications of increased migration pressure, the situation was deemed manageable until the actual event occurred. The first warning about a potential mass entry came only after the influx had begun. The judge investigating the incident has requested the government to declassify all communications to understand the authorities' awareness of the situation and Morocco's role in it. Three Ceuta government advisors testified that Moroccan authorities showed passivity during the mass entry.
