Iran says it can reopen Hormuz in two days if US meets conditions

Iran has proposed to reopen the Strait of Hormuz within two days if the US meets its conditions, shortening the initial seven-day timeline. Foreign ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei emphasized that Iran's readiness reflects its good-faith approach, but stressed that the outcome depends on US acceptance of Iran's demands. These include ending the war, unfreezing assets, lifting oil sanctions, and removing the naval blockade. Diplomatic efforts are intensifying, with Qatar mediating discussions and China sending an envoy to promote peace. Meanwhile, tensions remain high as military threats from the US and Israel persist, and Iran warns of a strong response to any aggression.
