Iran: 7 tankers damaged in the Strait of Hormuz

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard reported that seven tankers were damaged in attacks or by naval mines in the Strait of Hormuz. This incident, if confirmed, would mark the highest number of vessels affected in a single day since the conflict began on February 28. Four tankers were reportedly transferring oil when attacked, while three others were immobilized after hitting mines. Independent sources have not confirmed these incidents. Tanker operators are reportedly taking risks to transport oil through the Strait, using a route protected by U.S. military forces. The U.S. has imposed a blockade on Iranian ports in the Strait, with oil flow nearing pre-conflict levels.
