The forint weakened again

The Hungarian forint weakened against major currencies on Friday morning compared to the previous afternoon's rates. The euro was quoted at 366.25 HUF, up from 365.88 HUF, while the dollar rose to 326.74 HUF from 326.33 HUF, and the Swiss franc increased to 397.71 HUF from 396.63 HUF. The forint is expected to end the week with a decline of nearly one percent against the euro, over one percent against the dollar, and close to one and a half percent against the Swiss franc. Compared to the beginning of October, the forint is slightly stronger against the euro by 0.1 percent, but weaker against the dollar by 0.8 percent and the Swiss franc by 2.7 percent. Since the beginning of the year, the forint has strengthened by 4.8 percent against the euro, 0.2 percent against the dollar, and 3.7 percent against the Swiss franc.
