Italian consumer confidence down to three-year low says Istat

Istat reported a decline in the consumer confidence index to 90.3 in October, the lowest since September 2023. In contrast, the business confidence index increased to 96.6. The manufacturing confidence index remained stable at 91.9, while construction and market service indices rose. However, the retail index decreased significantly.
