Iveco now belongs to the Tata Group

Tata Motors, through TML CV Holding Pte. Ltd., acquired 89.42% of Iveco's capital for €14.4 per share, valuing the company at €4.32 billion. The remaining shares will be delisted on November 13. This acquisition is Tata's largest to date, surpassing previous purchases like Daewoo Motors and Jaguar Land Rover. The combined revenue is projected at €22 billion, with annual truck sales between 540,000 and 600,000 units. Tata aims to strengthen its position in Europe and Latin America, while also investing in new technologies. However, there are concerns about potential challenges, drawing parallels to Jaguar's struggles after its acquisition.
