Israeli intelligence warns: Qatar may have interfered in the Knesset elections

The head of the Central Election Commission, Noam Solberg, has initiated an investigation into allegations of foreign funding and electoral corruption in Israel's elections. Reports suggest that funds may have originated from Qatar and Turkey, potentially influencing the election results. The investigation is to be completed within a week, coinciding with the ongoing vote counting process. Despite accusations from the Likud party regarding Arab parties' involvement in electoral fraud, Israeli police have found no evidence to support these claims. As of now, neither the right-wing bloc led by Netanyahu nor the opposition bloc has secured a majority in the Knesset, while Arab parties have achieved historic electoral success. If coalition negotiations fail, new elections may be necessary early next year.
