You can now listen to the preview of "The Shadows of Duarte Lima"

On December 7, 2009, Rosalina Ribeiro, heir to a Portuguese millionaire, disappeared after leaving her home in Rio de Janeiro. Her body was found the next day, shot dead, leading to an investigation that implicated her lawyer, Domingos Duarte Lima. The new Podcast Plus series "As Sombras de Duarte Lima" explores the case through interviews, police recordings, and evidence, detailing how Lima was accused of the murder. The series, narrated by actor João Reis, will be available to subscribers of Observador. The case has seen delays in the judicial process, with a new trial date set for November 5, 2026, after being transferred to Portugal in 2019. Journalist Carlos Diogo Santos, who has followed the case for years, presents this podcast, featuring previously unreleased interviews with key witnesses.
