JA21, BBB and SGP form a bloc for negotiations and put pressure on the cabinet

Political parties in the Netherlands are pushing for stricter asylum policies and changes to environmental regulations, increasing pressure on the government. Asylum Minister Bart van den Brink has stated he cannot guarantee no coercion will be used in asylum seeker distribution. The SGP party is advocating for a pause on developments regarding abortion and surrogacy, which may complicate negotiations with D66 and VVD. The right-wing bloc is also demanding adjustments to the tax plan, including eliminating tax increases for workers and addressing tax disparities. Meanwhile, the left bloc seeks tax reductions for workers funded by the wealthy. The revised tax plan is due for discussion in parliament soon, with a vote scheduled for November 12.
