Jarosław Kaczyński punished for calling police officers "thugs". There is a decision from the ethics committee

The Ethics Committee of the Sejm reprimanded Jarosław Kaczyński for calling police "the ruling party's thugs" during a Smolensk disaster commemoration. His comments, made in July, followed an incident where PiS politicians were prevented from laying wreaths at a memorial. Kaczyński criticized the police for not intervening against protesters and suggested forming a citizen guard. His remarks drew condemnation from Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński, who labeled them as scandalous. Following this, a motion for Kaczyński's punishment was submitted to the Ethics Committee, which can issue warnings or reprimands. Kaczyński has the right to appeal the decision within 14 days.
