Most regional cities, including Prague and Zlín, are clear about their leadership two weeks after the elections.
Two weeks after the municipal elections, most regional cities have determined their leadership for the next four years, with ongoing negotiations in České Budějovice, Zlín, and Prague. The longest negotiations occurred in Prague, lasting nearly five months. The majority of mayors have been identified, with the ANO movement losing many positions, while Starostové and the Christian Democrats gained. In Pardubice, ODS will take over the leadership from ANO, appointing Ondřej Tichý as mayor. In České Budějovice, coalition talks are ongoing, with potential partnerships involving Naše Česko and other groups. In Prague, a coalition is expected between STAN and SPOLU, pending agreement with a third partner. Zlín's coalition discussions are stalled over mandate distribution. The deadline for filing complaints regarding election results has passed, with several cases under review by the courts, including disputes over vote counting errors.
