"Jaszczur" detained by the police. Kierwiński: "The state is acting"
In September, the Gdańsk Court of Appeals found Wojciech Olszański guilty of publicly inciting hatred against Jewish people during a rally in Grudziądz in 2022. The appellate court reduced the initial sentence to one and a half years of restricted freedom. Judge Rafał Ryś stated that Olszański, during the event, made statements attributing negative traits to Jewish individuals and portraying them as enemies of Poland deserving death. The sentence includes performing unpaid community service for 20 hours per month. In May 2025, the Toruń District Court had previously sentenced him to two years of such restrictions.
