A moose was running through the streets of Debrecen in the morning

A moose was spotted running through the streets of Debrecen, as shared in a Facebook post. This is not the first sighting in October, as a similar animal was filmed earlier in Nyírség. Moose are rarely seen in Hungary, making this event notable. The northeastern part of Debrecen borders agricultural areas, allowing the moose to reach residential areas unnoticed. Historically, moose were not native to Hungary, but they may wander from North Poland or Slovakia. Questions have been sent to local authorities for further information.
