There is a project for a new core curriculum. Putin, artificial intelligence, and climate change

The new curriculum for secondary schools in Poland introduces a foundational year aimed at bridging the gap between primary and secondary education. This year will help equalize students' knowledge levels and support their development of essential skills. It allows for flexibility in educational paths, enabling students to change their focus during the first year. The curriculum emphasizes student autonomy and includes four core competencies: linguistic, mathematical, digital, and physical. Additionally, it reduces mandatory reading lists and encourages a broader selection of texts, including contemporary works and various genres. Students will also learn to utilize AI tools and critically assess information throughout their education.
