There is an investigation into the events before the Constitutional Tribunal. It concerns TV Republika
The Szczecin District Prosecutor's Office has initiated an investigation into events surrounding the Constitutional Tribunal on October 16, following a report from the Minister of Internal Affairs. The investigation focuses on calls made during a TV Republika program to disclose personal information about a police officer, potentially endangering her safety. Additionally, it examines derogatory statements made against police officers and the Prime Minister. The investigation also addresses threats directed at officers securing the gathering near the Tribunal. Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek emphasized that freedom of speech does not permit legal violations that jeopardize police safety. Protests by right-wing groups have led to violence, including an attack on a policewoman, prompting a strong response from police leadership.
