Jetten speaks opposition: 'We can do business today'

Prime Minister Jetten believes that today could yield results in negotiations with some opposition parties regarding the Tax Plan and budgets. He emphasized the need for compromises and stated that the cabinet would present concrete proposals based on prior discussions. Jetten will meet with various party combinations, including ChristenUnie, 50Plus, JA21, BBB, SGP, Pro, and Volt. However, he expressed doubts about linking complex ethical issues to financial matters, as it could hinder progress. Coalition partners D66 and CDA also voiced concerns about the demands from the new right-wing alliance. Jetten aims to attract different opposition parties with varied proposals.
