Jhon Durán free to face Gil Vicente

Colombian forward Jhon Durán is available for Benfica's Taça da Liga match against Gil Vicente after the Disciplinary Council opened a disciplinary process without immediate suspension. Durán was already included in the squad for the match, alongside Brazilian forward Fernando, both expelled after a recent match against Santa Clara. Following the game, Benfica's coach Marco Silva criticized the expulsion, stating Durán claimed he did nothing wrong. Silva expressed curiosity about the decision after reviewing the referee's report, which mentioned Durán's comments to the referees. Additionally, the Disciplinary Council has also opened a similar process against Benfica's general director, Mário Branco, who received a 20-day suspension.
