"It's good to be home" – After 28 years, the British adventurer who walked around the world has returned home.
After 28 years of traveling, Karl Bushby returned home to Hull, England, on October 5, 2026. He embarked on his journey in 1998, walking around the world without using any transportation. Bushby faced numerous challenges, including visa issues and global events like the financial crisis and the pandemic. He met his son and grandson before returning home, where he expressed his mixed feelings about adjusting to normal life. Bushby plans to focus on sharing his story and is working on a second memoir, while a documentary about his adventures is in production.
