João Vieira eighth in the walking half marathon at the Lusatian meeting

João Vieira finished eighth in the Lusatian half marathon race walking event in Zittau, Germany, with a time of 1:30.40. The race was won by Sweden's Perseus Karlström, who completed it in 1:23.24, leading by over four minutes. German athlete Leo Köpp secured second place with a time of 1:27.45, while Latvia's Raivo Saulgriezis took third at 1:28.00. Vieira's performance did not match his national record of 1:29.54 set earlier this year in Slovakia.
