Next week, the National Assembly will decide on the Chief Prosecutor.
Next week, the Hungarian Parliament will vote on Dr. Péter Fejes, the second candidate for chief prosecutor nominated by President András Baka. Additionally, a proposal from the Tisza Party to declare December 24 a public holiday will also be discussed. This proposal aims to promote togetherness and peace on that day, allowing retail workers to rest. Fejes, previously deputy chief prosecutor in Vas County, emphasizes restoring traditional values and professionalism in the prosecutor's office. Baka believes Fejes is suitable for renewing the office both professionally and morally.
