Next year there will be an EXIT festival again in Serbia

Following a historic victory for student unions, Serbia's EXIT festival, which was canceled last year due to political pressure, will return next year. The festival's organizers announced that the event will take place in July, earlier than the initially planned 2028 date, due to overwhelming public interest and support. The festival's founder, Dušan Kovačević, expressed that the return symbolizes freedom and unity, highlighting the resilience of Serbian students. The EXIT festival had previously been suspended amid political and financial pressures related to its support for student movements. Kovačević emphasized the significance of this moment for the country and its youth.
