Jubilee of POT and LOT in Stockholm. Swedes are increasingly eager to visit Poland
The Polish Tourism Organization (POT) in Stockholm hosted partners from travel agencies across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland to promote tourism to Poland. Director Małgorzata Hudyma noted a projected increase in Swedish tourist arrivals to Poland in 2025. The narrative around Poland has evolved, highlighting not just history and culture but also quality experiences like cuisine and diverse accommodations. Interest in Gdańsk has surged, with a 130% rise in bookings. The Stockholm office, established in 1991, now utilizes various digital channels for outreach. Upcoming campaigns will promote Christmas markets in Poland, coinciding with the 80th anniversary of LOT's Warsaw-Stockholm route.
