There was drugs in the car, a sheep was eating chips on the back seat, but the Scottish duo avoided prison.
A Scottish man avoided prison after being caught with drugs worth £14,000 while a lamb ate chips in the back seat. John McNeil was a passenger in Lindsey Sangster's car when police stopped them on the M74 in Glasgow. A police dog found bags of heroin and cocaine under the front passenger seat. Both were found guilty of drug possession with intent to supply. They claimed they rescued the lamb, named Pablo, from a dangerous location, but the court ruled it belonged to a farm in Motherwell. Sangster was under the influence while driving and received an 18-month driving ban and community service. McNeil faces a curfew for six months.
