András Kármán announced the new CEO of Szerencsejáték Zrt.

Zoltán Sólyom has been appointed as the new CEO of Szerencsejáték Zrt., announced Finance Minister András Kármán. The previous CEO was replaced during the summer, and Sólyom officially started on October 27. Kármán criticized the company's past practices, alleging it funneled taxpayer money to companies close to Fidesz. He emphasized the need for transparency and accountability in the company's operations. Sólyom, with nearly thirty years of experience in corporate insurance and leadership roles in financial firms, was previously a member of the supervisory boards of Szerencsejáték Zrt. and Corvinus International Investment Zrt. Kármán expressed confidence in Sólyom's ability to modernize the company while prioritizing taxpayer interests.
