KAS: Irregularities in the spending of public money exceeding 120 billion PLN

The National Revenue Administration (KAS) reported audits covering 191 entities, including ministries, foundations, and public institutions. A total of 133 notifications of public finance discipline violations were sent to the Public Finance Discipline Commissioner. Issues identified included improper grant management and public fund expenditures not aligned with financial plans. KAS highlighted concerns such as economically unjustified creation of public institutions and misuse of budget reserves. Additionally, a notification regarding the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) was included, citing potential harm to public interest due to delays in collecting fees from broadcasters. The reported amount in question is approximately 4.7 million PLN. KAS emphasized that these notifications indicate suspicions and do not determine criminal liability.
