KBr Flama ’26: four photographers turn personal experience into a collective narrative

KBr Flama ’26 is an exhibition by Fundación MAPFRE showcasing four emerging photographers who explore personal experiences as a reflection of collective issues. Running from October 1, 2026, to January 17, 2027, in Barcelona, the exhibition features works by Meghan Mathews, Sara Bravo, Elena Bulet i Llopis, and Luca Gaetano Pira. Each artist employs unique photographic approaches to address themes of identity, memory, and community, particularly focusing on the LGBTIQA+ experience. The exhibition also includes individual publications for each project and educational workshops for youth.
