Once necessary children used to travel here, today weddings are celebrated. Villa Josefína almost disappeared.
The Vojáček villa in Stražisko, originally opened as a holiday camp for underprivileged children, underwent significant restoration led by investor Hana Zeinigerová. The villa, which had fallen into disrepair, was revitalized by architects who uncovered original details and preserved its unique character. The restoration included maintaining original windows and doors while updating the interior to accommodate modern uses, such as hosting events. The project highlights the importance of preserving historical architecture while adapting it for contemporary needs. Today, the villa serves as a venue for weddings and private events, bridging its historical significance with current functionality.
