KHNP did not reach an agreement on the construction contract in Dukovany

KHNP has ended negotiations with a consortium for construction work on new nuclear blocks in Dukovany due to differing views on key conditions. The construction of two reactors is projected to cost 407 billion CZK, with the first block expected to start in 2029 and be completed by 2036. KHNP has secured other contracts related to the project and continues discussions on nuclear fuel supply and operational maintenance contracts, expected to be finalized next year.
