An international arrest warrant has been issued against Ádám Matolcsy

The Budapest Central District Court has issued European and international arrest warrants for Ádám Matolcsy and György Stofa in connection with a significant economic fraud case. Both individuals are currently abroad, and the investigation has revealed that they may be outside Europe. The court found it justified to search for them within the EU. The charges against Matolcsy include inciting significant economic fraud and using false private documents, while Stofa is implicated as an accomplice in the fraud and as the perpetrator of document forgery. The Hungarian authorities are seeking extradition for the prosecution of these crimes, considering the severity of the offenses and potential penalties.
