The Orbán secretariat is outraged by reports and complaints questioning the costs of the Orbán ministers' travels.
Former Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's office criticized the Tisza government for attacking the foreign trips of former ministers, calling the allegations ridiculous. The Fidesz party responded to a complaint made by the Ministry of Finance regarding travel expenses of former minister Márton Nagy and military aircraft usage by Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky, the former defense minister. Reports indicated that military aircraft costs during the 2022-2026 government cycle were six times higher than all other travel expenses combined. Orbán's office defended the legality and necessity of these trips, urging the finance minister to focus on economic issues instead of making unfounded accusations.
