It turned out where the most speeders are measured in Hungary – here is the list
A camera on Nagykőrösi út 46 in Budapest records the highest number of speeding violations in Hungary. The top ten list includes six locations from the capital and several from highways and rural roads. In the first half of the year, fixed speed cameras in Budapest recorded over 157,000 violations, resulting in fines exceeding 7.2 billion HUF. The ORFK operates 38 fixed and 33 mobile speed cameras in the city. Interestingly, none of the top locations in Budapest appear on the national ranking, and the reasons for this discrepancy remain unanswered. The ORFK plans to acquire more speed measuring devices in the near future, but details about the number and timing of purchases are not disclosed.
