Kidney Care Award: bringing value to chronic kidney disease

The Kidney Care Award, initiated by Boehringer Ingelheim, aims to support innovative ideas and projects that improve chronic kidney disease (CKD) management in Portugal. Applications are open until November 16, 2026, for multidisciplinary teams with potential impactful solutions. Selected teams will receive four months of mentorship from Lean Health Portugal to refine their projects. The award recognizes the importance of local expertise in addressing CKD challenges, such as early detection and better healthcare coordination. The final event will showcase the top initiatives on April 28, 2027, with three winners receiving additional support to ensure sustainability and broader impact.
