When are the results of the NFZ inspection at the Southern Hospital? The deadline has been postponed again
The audit of the South Hospital in Warsaw is a consequence of a scandal involving former councilor Dawid K., who faces fraud charges exceeding half a million zlotys for issuing false invoices. Initially, the audit results were expected in August, but the deadline was postponed twice to ensure thoroughness. The National Health Fund (NFZ) plans to present its findings by mid-November. One outcome of the scandal is a proposal to introduce upper limits on doctors' salaries and working hours, with the Senate expected to revisit this project soon. Proposed salary caps include a maximum of 240 zlotys per hour, or 360 zlotys for additional duties, totaling up to 76,800 zlotys monthly.
