Drivers in Krakow have waited. The overpass on the S7 towards Warsaw is open

Today, GDDKiA opened both lanes of the S7 route at the Mistrzejowice junction, each with two lanes in both directions. This aims to improve traffic flow and safety for drivers traveling between Krakow and Warsaw, although a speed limit of 80 km/h will apply. However, traffic will merge back into one lane about 400 meters past the junction. The complete opening of the Mistrzejowice junction, connecting S52, the Northern Bypass of Krakow, and S7, is expected by late November or early December, making Krakow the second city in Poland with a full bypass. Additionally, the opening of Łowińskiego Street is planned, enhancing traffic conditions in the area.
