Kiev hits refinery in Russia over 1,500 km from the border
Ukrainian drones struck the Bashneft oil refinery in Russia, over 1,500 km from the border, while Russia continued its attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure. Reports indicate the refinery in Ufa was hit, although this has not been officially confirmed. The attack follows a previous strike on a Rosneft facility in Samara. Ukraine appears to be targeting factories and logistics centers, while Russia retaliates with drone strikes on Ukrainian power facilities. In a separate incident, a Ukrainian drone attack in Klimovo resulted in civilian casualties. The ongoing conflict sees both sides escalating their military actions against each other's infrastructure.
