Kyiv and Moscow agree on new humanitarian missions in Oleskhy
Russia and Ukraine have agreed to coordinate regular humanitarian missions in Oleshky, a city in Kherson region. Russian Ombudsman Yana Lantratova stated that living conditions remain dire, necessitating ongoing humanitarian efforts. The recent mission, which concluded without incidents, involved extensive negotiations and collaboration. Ukrainian authorities reported that 2,000 to 3,000 residents lacked regular food and medical supplies due to ongoing hostilities. A local ceasefire facilitated the distribution of aid and evacuation of civilians, with options for residents to relocate or stay. The humanitarian convoy included buses and ambulances, capable of safely evacuating over 750 individuals.
