The call for applications for the CEO position at MTI has been announced

The Independent Media Council (FKT) has announced an open application for the position of CEO of the Hungarian News Agency Nonprofit Zrt. Established after the government change, the FKT aims to ensure the independence of public media and news services. Its responsibilities include selecting CEOs, overseeing the financial management of public media, and monitoring the fulfillment of public service goals. The FKT seeks a qualified, credible, and experienced leader to reorganize Hungary's national news agency. The new CEO's primary task will be to eliminate previous political dependencies and restore the professional authority of MTI and public trust in news services.
