They are evacuating the shelled residents of Oleski

The evacuation of remaining residents from the war-torn city of Oleski has begun under a ceasefire initiated by Melania Trump. Since April 2022, around 2,000 people have been trapped in Oleski, facing severe shortages of food and basic utilities. On Friday, a four-hour window allowed 750 individuals to leave the city via buses and ambulances, although many chose to stay despite the dire conditions. Those who leave will first be taken to Anapa under Russian control before being transported to Belarus. Ukraine's human rights ombudsman, Dmytro Lubinyets, visited Oleski and expressed sorrow for those who wished to remain. The ceasefire is set to last until November 1, but locals fear it may be a tactic for Russia to regroup for further attacks.
