Meta is building a humanoid robot with a Chinese company

Meta, led by Mark Zuckerberg, is collaborating with the Chinese company Fourier to develop humanoid robots. The initiative began in 2025 within Meta's Reality Labs, known for VR headsets and smart glasses. Instead of manufacturing robots, Meta will provide software, sensors, and AI for the project, while also planning a separate Metabot initiative.
