Tesco is withdrawing from the Czech Republic and Slovakia

Tesco announced the sale of its operations in the Czech Republic and Slovakia to Ahold Delhaize for approximately 1.2 billion euros, despite the stores being valued at 1.7 billion euros. The Hungarian subsidiary remains under Tesco's ownership and management, with future options for its business still being considered.
