Politicians were excluded from the lying competition in Bosnia because they were too good at it.
The 23rd edition of the best lies competition is set to take place in Bosnia and Herzegovina, open to anyone with creativity and persuasive skills, excluding politicians. The event, titled "Lie Well and Stay Alive!", will be held in the Blidinje nature park, where participants must present the most believable and entertaining stories. The winner will be determined by the jury's persuasion. The venue is humorously named after Mijat Tomic, a legendary figure from 17th-century Hercegovina, symbolizing resistance against Ottoman rule. Over the past two decades, this competition has become one of the region's most recognized humorous events, engaging both the jury and the audience.
