Class from Zedelgem wins traffic safety competition: "We are the safest in West Flanders"

A class from De Groeituin primary school in Zedelgem has been named the safest in West Flanders after participating in a traffic safety competition organized by DVV. The competition involved 1,111 classes across Flanders, with 170 from West Flanders. Students used the game Roblox to simulate their routes to school and completed a quiz on traffic rules. Teacher Natasha Pertz dedicated a lesson to traffic safety, which helped the students excel in the quiz. As a reward, the class received bicycle helmets and the school was awarded €2,500.
