Woman hit on the crosswalk. Police released the footage

A woman was hit by a car while crossing a street in Zielona Góra. The incident, captured by city surveillance, involved a 19-year-old driver. Fortunately, the pedestrian was unharmed. Following the review of the footage, police revoked the driver's license and filed a court request for punishment. Penalties for hitting a pedestrian can include fines up to 2500 PLN and 15 penalty points. Authorities emphasize the importance of driver caution near crosswalks, especially in autumn, and remind that drivers must stop for pedestrians and cannot bypass vehicles halted at crossings.
