They called him a jerk and a weirdo, they taped a three-year-old boy's mouth shut at the daycare.

The Somogy County Prosecutor's Office has charged two daycare workers for inappropriate behavior towards a three-year-old boy, including taping his mouth shut. The workers, employed as a caregiver and an assistant in a daycare, verbally abused the child and physically restrained him. During a meal, the boy crawled under the table, prompting the assistant to react violently by taping his mouth with duct tape. Although the child was not physically harmed, the actions of the workers severely violated their professional duties, endangering the child's emotional and physical development. Following the incident, both workers were immediately dismissed from their positions. The prosecution is seeking suspended prison sentences and a permanent ban on working with minors.
