They are camping in parking lots, exporting mushrooms abroad. The police have launched an operation.

In the Beskid Niski region, mushroom pickers have become a significant issue, with groups camping in forests and causing disturbances. Local authorities reported illegal forest access and littering, prompting police and border guards to conduct checks on foreign pickers. Nearly 250 individuals were identified, with several violations noted, including littering and unauthorized forest entry. Foreign mushroom gatherers face the same penalties as Polish citizens, as there are no specific limits on forest product collection. Allegations of intimidation against Polish gatherers have not been substantiated by formal complaints.
