Another demonstration of North Korea's strength. At least 10 ballistic missiles were launched.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea reported the launch of approximately 10 short-range ballistic missiles from North Korea towards the East Sea. Japan's defense ministry confirmed the missiles fell outside its exclusive economic zone, and no damages were reported. In response, both Tokyo and Seoul activated crisis response teams to monitor the situation. This missile test follows a previous launch on October 12, marking the 17th such test this year. Tensions remain high on the Korean Peninsula, exacerbated by a recent landmine incident attributed to North Korea. Kim Jong Un's regime has rejected accusations and threatened retaliation against South Korea's actions.
