Another ambassador resigns from office

Ambassador Krzysztof Szczerski requested to shorten his diplomatic mission at the UN, which was approved by Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski. Szczerski will conclude his mission this month. This resignation follows similar departures of ambassadors in China and Romania, who cited the government's actions as their reason for leaving. Minister Sikorski later clarified that it was President Duda who pressured the ambassadors to resign, not his staff. Jakub Kumoch, one of the resigning ambassadors, denied any prior communication with the President before his decision.
