Another motion to dismiss Marcin Kierwiński submitted by PiS
On Thursday, the PiS club submitted a motion of no confidence against Minister Marcin Kierwiński. This follows a previous incomplete motion by the Rozwój Plus group, which lacked sufficient signatures. PiS Vice President Mariusz Błaszczak confirmed that they gathered the required signatures and received support from some members of Rozwój Plus. The earlier motion was rejected due to a technical error, as it only had 51 signatures instead of the needed 69. Marcin Horała from Rozwój Plus explained that the error was due to new staff unfamiliar with the process. Horała had previously announced plans to submit the no-confidence motion, citing Kierwiński's failures in crisis management and political responsibility. The Sejm can express no confidence with a majority vote, requiring at least 69 signatures from deputies.
